Lexie, Hebe and Oscar

We are Cath and Gareth Dew and we live in Swindon Wiltshire, with our beloved cats and two sons. We stumbled into the world of pedigree cats when looking for a kitten as a pet and found Oscar, our blue Burmese. We felt sure that Oscar would benefit from a companion and in due course we met Deborah Laugher who entrusted us with Hebe, a lovely brown Asian variant.

When looking for a third cat to join our home, Deborah luckily had kittens available, and we brought Lexie home to live with us. Having discussed showing and after much research we decided that we might like to show in the future. With Deborah's guidance we began showing Lexie in February 2007.

Lexie (Pr Lohr Jolene X Gr Ch Malbrant Sandpiper) had her first litter in October 2007 and we have kept one of her kittens, a blue silver burmilla, named Mica. We hope to breed from and show her in the future alongside Ella, a chocolate Burmese, who came to live with us from breeders Pat and Maureen Hardy in December 2007.

All of our cats are true members of the family. They all have different personalities but are all loyal, loving cats that show real warmth towards other family members. They are never far away and will seek you out just to make sure they know where you are..

All our cats are kept indoors with access to the outside via a safe enclosure, they are a genuine part of our family and we cannot imagine life without them..
